Meet Jane
Jane Oma is the founder of the Mother Eagle Mentoring and Advisory MEMA) and the President of Upside Africa, a pan-African organisation headquartered in Spain, but with a reach cutting across Africa and Central Europe. She is also an adjunct Professor at Geneva Business School and one of the mentors at Bridge for Billions.
Fondly called The Mother Eagle (TME) by her mentees and associates, Jane has spent over a decade helping business/organisational leaders and management executives build strong institutions and sustainable businesses.
Over the past 15 years, She has worked across Europe and Africa, as an Executive coach, teacher, trainer and consultant; helping business/organisational leaders and management executives to improve their leadership style, communication processes, intercultural competence and change management strategies. She has successfully delivered carefully-curated executive training and strategy sessions to companies in different sectors and countries including Coca-Cola, OHL Group and Airbus, amongst others.
As a consultant, she specialises in Business Advisory, Strategic Management, Change Management, Communication, Leadership Development and Team Management. She loves reading, travelling, gastronomy, wine tasting, music, arts and the opera.
Upside Africa
Through Upside Africa (an NGO), Jane has steadily been a rallying point for Africans both at home and in the diaspora; helping to inspire and foster entrepreneurship and professionalism in Africa.
MEMA
Jane mentors primarily through the Mother Eagle Mentoring Academy (MEMA) which is focused on providing advisory, consulting and mentoring services to business owners and organizations.

Jane is a published author & she accepts speaking engagements across the globe on topics around Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Leading Systems Change & Organisational Culture for multicultural organisations.
Jane has directly mentored over 90 people in the last 4 years, working on their executive presence and helping them properly structure their businesses.
A front-row advocate for Women Empowement, Jane has also appeared on a number of big stages including the Afroconciencia 2015 in Madrid, the Rototom Festival 2018 in Benicàssim, Spain; and Casa Africa 2021 where she delivered keynote speeches on Afro-Feminism and female business leadership.
